In September 2010, Timothy P. O’Connor and John A. Meyer made a presentation to the annual conference of the Illinois Municipal League on recent developments in the law of qualified immunity in the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. In addition to a forty-five minute oral presentation, Mr. O’Connor and Mr. Meyer distributed a 47 page paper summarizing all decisions issued by the Seventh Circuit with respect to the law of qualified immunity over the eighteen month period that ended in mid-August, 2010.
