Meyer & O’Connor Obtains Reduced Sentence for Defendant in Wire Fraud, Structuring Case

Meyer & O’Connor recently obtained a six month reduction of the sentence of a man convicted in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois of wire fraud and structuring financial transactions to avoid financial reporting requirements. In a recent resentencing hearing the district court reduced the defendant’s sentence to eighty four months from a prior sentence of ninety months. Timothy P.
